My maternal grandfather died of Type 2 diabetes at age 54. My Mama struggled with the same. My husband was Type 2 as well. I was Type 2 for several years. Cut out all sugars. Eventually got off of Metformin. Life goes on. So, as the French poet, Pierre de Ronsard penned, "Cueillez dès aujourd'hui les roses de la vie."
Yelling at the sun? Spend a winter in upstate New York, my man. You’ll motherfuck the weather 2/3 times a week. It’s part of the culture here.
