I went to my 25th reunion for college last weekend. Listed among the official activities on Saturday -- between the block party (free beer) at 2 p.m. and the alumni celebration (full open bar) at 6 p.m. -- was a 3:15 p.m. meeting for the friends of Bill at the campus ministries building.
Wow, that's fascinating. Part of me would love to sit in a meeting solely composed of people from my high school class, and part of me thinks that is the very definition of hell on earth. But good on your reunion committee for thinking about that!
My wife and I found it equally as interesting, especially at a college where drinking is embedded in the social culture. The on-campus, college-operated bar is a leisurely walk from where the meeting was being held.
